Technically, I suppose that first ring is a Griffin... or half Griffin / half Dragon.
Le Egg.
The rings are my most favorite jewelry, obtained at a Renaissance Faire many years ago. The 'Dragon Egg', (or Opal Egg in Matrix) I picked up from this great store called The Sacred Well. Kim and I had gone on a quest for incense, and lost a good bit of time going through all the gems and stones. The people were super friendly, and I can't wait to go back!
I'm officially calling it a Dragon Egg, but as for the properties of an Opal in Matrix - it's supposed to promote imagination. Right up my alley!
(I do love me some dragons.)
The second ring, the true Dragon - is a testament to hand crafted jewelry. It's been run over by a car, banged back into shape, and still looks awesome. Quality work.
