Adventures : Mountain View Cemetery

Mountain View Cemetery is absolutely gorgeous. Misa and I journeyed here on a quest for landscape photos, and it turned out to be an excellent choice! The view from the top of any hill is awesome. Though it's a bit hard to tell in my hastily combined photo, (pay no attention to the double tree) I could see almost all of the cemetery, downtown Oakland and the Bay from our little vantage point on one of the back hills.

These little yellow flowers jumped out and caught my attention.

I would have loved to have access to this fairy-like tunnel as a kid.

(I'll have to go back another time and capture it in full bloom, too!)

Tulip army.

Contemplative angel.

An awesome ironwork door.

Strength of stone.

Circle of life.

Long lost pyramid.

Green patina. (Another door - I love them!)

Guardian Angel.

Goodbye, sunshine.

Thanks for looking!

Kokiri's Emerald, Goron's Ruby, Zora's Sapphire.

Oh goodness, I have entirely too many important things to finish up this month. I choose this background (The three spiritual stones from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time) to remind me that in order to obtain my epic goals, I need to constantly put my all into it.

You don't become the Hero of Time by giving up when obstacles block your path - you find a way through them!

Funny Face

I'm not the best at posing for photos. My face does silly things, and as soon as that camera appears I completely forget what I should be doing with my body. So, stuff like this happens. :)

More on my Piedmont Cemetery adventure with Misa soon.

The Cute : Pusheen The Cat

Pusheen the cat is almost too cute for words. (That face! AND a tiny chef hat. Love it.)
This adorably round cat has quite an active life, which includes both baking and the occasional dance party.

I highly recommend checking out more of the awesomeness that is Pusheen the cat.

^-^
